The Heat & Glo TRUE 42 is a large-format direct-vent gas fireplace designed to combine traditional masonry-inspired styling with modern fireplace technology. This configuration features Tranquil Greige herringbone brick refractory, giving the firebox a warm, neutral finish that complements traditional, transitional, and upscale contemporary interiors. Eight premium cast logs create a detailed, realistic fireside appearance, while LED-illuminated embers and LED accent lighting add visual depth and ambiance. Its expansive viewing area makes the fireplace a prominent architectural feature in large living rooms, family rooms, and open-plan residential spaces.

Designed for Natural Gas, the TRUE 42 delivers a heat input range of 30,500–55,500 BTU per hour. The IntelliFire Touch ignition system and included RC400 touchscreen remote provide convenient operating control. Virtually invisible anti-reflective ceramic glass helps reduce glare and improves visibility of the flames and log arrangement. The appliance also includes a gas flex connector and junction box. Optional Heat-Zone and Heat-Out systems can help direct warmth to other areas, subject to compatible accessories and installation requirements.

The TRUE-42TG-IFT is the Natural Gas model with Tranquil Greige herringbone refractory. A compatible decorative front is required to complete installation and must be purchased separately. Available options include black Firescreen, Arched Firescreen, Forge, and Arched Forge designs, with the appropriate arch kit required for applicable arched fronts. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s framing, hearth-extension, venting, clearance, and gas-connection requirements.
