The Heat & Glo Supreme 30 Inch Birch-Log Gas Fireplace Insert combines traditional fireplace styling with the convenience of modern gas heating. Designed to upgrade a compatible existing masonry or factory-built wood-burning fireplace, this direct vent insert creates a welcoming focal point without the routine handling of firewood. Its natural birch-style ceramic fiber logs, decorative brick base, and glowing ember bed create a realistic fire presentation, while the black finish complements a wide range of interior designs.

The SUPREME-I30-BIR features IntelliFire Touch electronic ignition and an included RC400 touchscreen remote control for convenient operation. In its propane-converted configuration, it delivers a maximum heating input of 32,000 BTU per hour, with a minimum input of 22,400 BTU per hour. The integrated GFK-160A variable-speed fan helps circulate warm air throughout the room, while the ceramic glass provides a clear view of the flames and decorative logs. Battery backup provides additional ignition support during qualifying power interruptions, and the supplied gas flex connector facilitates the appliance gas connection.

For propane operation, this model requires the manufacturer-approved LPK-MI-IFT conversion kit, which must be installed by a qualified service technician. A compatible decorative front, surround, and approved direct vent liner and termination components are also required to complete the installation. These finishing components are selected separately to suit the fireplace opening and desired appearance. The Supreme is intended for supplemental heating or decorative use rather than as a primary heat source. Installation and fuel conversion must follow the manufacturer’s instructions, required clearances, gas pressure specifications, and applicable local building and gas codes.
