The Heat & Glo Escape 30 Inch Propane Gas Fireplace Insert combines traditional fireplace styling with convenient gas heating technology. Designed to retrofit a compatible existing fireplace, this direct vent insert transforms an outdated or unused hearth into an inviting focal point. Its seamless FireBrick interior, hand-painted oak-style logs, illuminated ember bed, and black finish create a realistic fireplace appearance while the patented ceramic interior is designed to radiate additional warmth into the room.

The ESCAPE-30LP-IFT operates on liquid propane and provides a heating input range of 19,000 to 36,000 BTU per hour. Its IntelliFire Touch ignition system and included RC400 touchscreen remote offer convenient control, while the dual variable-speed convection fan helps circulate heated air. Anti-reflective ceramic glass and the ClearVue screen help reduce reflections for a clearer view of the flames. Battery backup supports ignition operation during qualifying power interruptions, and the integrated illuminated ember bed adds a decorative glow even when the fireplace is not producing flames.

Installation requires a compatible direct vent liner and termination arrangement, together with a suitable decorative barrier front and surround. These finishing components are selected separately to suit the existing fireplace opening and desired appearance. The supplied gas flex connector facilitates the appliance gas connection, while compatible optional accessories may include Wi-Fi controls and app-based operation.
