The Heat & Glo Supreme 30 Inch Natural Gas Fireplace Insert combines traditional fireplace styling with modern gas-heating convenience. Designed to transform a compatible existing masonry or factory-built wood-burning fireplace, this direct vent insert creates an inviting focal point without the routine handling of firewood. Its five ceramic fiber logs, decorative brick base, glowing ember bed, and black finish produce a classic fireplace appearance that complements a variety of interior designs.
The SUPREME-I30-IFT provides natural gas input ranging from 22,890 to 32,700 BTU per hour. Its IntelliFire Touch ignition system and included RC400 touchscreen remote provide convenient operation, while the GFK-160A variable-speed fan helps circulate warm air throughout the living space. Ceramic glass offers a clear view of the flames and realistic log arrangement, and the included battery backup supports ignition during qualifying power interruptions. Direct vent technology routes combustion exhaust outside through an approved venting system.
To complete the installation, the Supreme 30 requires a compatible decorative barrier front, surround, and approved direct vent liner and termination components. These finishing accessories are selected separately to fit the existing fireplace opening and complement the surrounding decor. The included gas flex connector, electrical cord, remote control, decorative brick base, logs, embers, and fan provide the core components for operation. The appliance is factory-configured for natural gas, with conversion to liquid propane available through the manufacturer-approved LPK-MI-IFT conversion kit.
