Heat & Glo SL-7X 36 Inch Natural Gas Fireplace With Touch And Black Glass Refractory And Birch Logs – Black (SL-7X-G-BIR)

The Heat & Glo SL-7X is a 36-inch direct-vent gas fireplace designed to provide a traditional fireside experience with a modern, space-saving profile. This configuration combines reflective black glass refractory with a Birch log set, creating a striking contrast between the light wood-inspired logs and the dark, reflective firebox interior. High-definition ceramic logs, ceramic viewing glass, and LED-illuminated embers contribute to a realistic flame presentation that complements contemporary, transitional, and traditional residential interiors.

Designed for Natural Gas, the SL-7X-G-BIR provides a rated heat input range of 17,500–30,500 BTU per hour. Its IntelliFire Touch ignition system and RC400 touchscreen remote provide convenient operating control. The GFK-160A variable-speed blower helps distribute warm air throughout the room, while battery backup offers additional operating flexibility during power interruptions. A gas flex connector with shut-off valve, junction box, and top- or rear-vent connection options are included in the appliance configuration.

The SL-7X-G-BIR combines the SlimLine 7X platform with reflective black glass refractory and distinctive Birch logs. Its slim depth provides flexibility for installations where preserving room space is important. A compatible decorative front is required to complete the installation and is sold separately; the decorative hearth associated with the Birch log assembly is also sold separately. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s approved framing, clearance, venting, and gas-connection instructions.
