Dimplex 39″ Standard Built-In Electric Firebox is a classic built-in solution that delivers a patented, realistic flame effect with the convenience of supplemental heat and flexible installation options. It includes built-in manual switches – a main on/off power switch plus a separate heater on/off switch – and it can also be wired to separate wall switches (not included) to control the flame, with an optional wall thermostat to manage heat. For warmth, the fan-forced heater is designed to provide supplemental heating for rooms up to 400 sq. ft., and you can enjoy the flame with or without heat for year-round ambiance. The included log set is hand crafted and molded from real wood logs for an authentic look, and the unit features an integral air filtering system designed to help remove common household allergens like dust, pollen, dander, and mold. For a clean, finished appearance, the included tempered glass front with black detail can be installed in a stationary position to close off the fireplace while maintaining a clear view of the flames, and the glass remains cool to the touch for added safety. Installation is flexible: direct-wire to a 120V, 208V, or 240V circuit, or use the optional plug kit for a simple plug-in setup. A remote control kit is included and requires minimal wiring, allowing you to adjust heat from across the room.
