The Heat & Glo TRUE 42 is a large-format direct-vent gas fireplace designed to combine traditional masonry-inspired styling with contemporary interior finishes. This configuration features fade-resistant reflective black glass refractory, creating a dark, reflective firebox that enhances the visual depth of the flames. Eight premium cast logs, LED-illuminated embers, and integrated LED accent lighting create a detailed fireside presentation, while the expansive viewing area makes the fireplace a striking focal point in large living rooms, family rooms, and open-plan residential spaces.

Designed for Natural Gas, the TRUE-42G-IFT delivers a heat input range of 30,500–55,500 BTU per hour. Its IntelliFire Touch ignition system and included RC400 touchscreen remote provide convenient operating control. Virtually invisible anti-reflective ceramic glass reduces glare, helping maintain a clear view of the flames and log arrangement. The appliance also includes a gas flex connector and junction box. Optional Heat-Zone and Heat-Out systems can provide additional heat-management flexibility when installed with compatible accessories.

The TRUE-42G-IFT is the reflective black glass interior version of the TRUE 42 series. A compatible decorative front must be purchased separately to complete installation. Available front styles include black Firescreen, Arched Firescreen, hand-crafted Forge, and Arched Forge designs. An arch kit is required for applicable arched-front configurations. Professional installation must follow the manufacturer’s framing, hearth-extension, venting, clearance, and gas-connection requirements.
