The Heat & Glo TRUE 36 is a traditional-style direct-vent gas fireplace designed to combine masonry-inspired architecture with contemporary detailing. This configuration features fade-resistant reflective black glass refractory, providing a sleek, dark interior that enhances the visual depth of the flames. Seven premium cast logs create a realistic fireside appearance, while LED-illuminated embers and integrated accent lighting bring additional dimension to the firebox. Its generous viewing area and flush-hearth design make it a striking focal point in living rooms, family rooms, and other residential spaces.

Designed for Natural Gas, the TRUE-36G-IFT delivers a heat input range of 28,000–45,500 BTU per hour. The IntelliFire Touch ignition system and included RC400 touchscreen remote provide convenient operating control. Virtually invisible anti-reflective ceramic glass reduces glare, helping maintain a clear view of the flames and logs. The appliance also includes a gas flex connector and junction box. Optional IntelliFire app connectivity and Heat-Zone or Heat-Out accessories provide additional control and heat-management possibilities when paired with compatible equipment.

The TRUE-36G-IFT is the reflective black glass interior version of the TRUE 36 series. A compatible decorative front must be purchased separately to complete installation. Available choices include black Firescreen, Arched Firescreen, hand-crafted Forge, and Arched Forge designs. An arch kit is required for applicable arched-front installations. Professional installation must follow the manufacturer’s framing, hearth-extension, venting, clearance, and gas-connection requirements.
