The Heat & Glo TRUE 36 is a traditional-style direct-vent gas fireplace designed to combine masonry-inspired detailing with modern gas-fireplace technology. This configuration features Stratford brick refractory, creating a classic brick-firebox appearance that complements traditional, transitional, and contemporary residential interiors. Seven premium cast logs, LED-illuminated embers, and integrated accent lighting produce an inviting fireside presentation, while the generous viewing area showcases the flames and log arrangement. The flush-hearth design supports a built-in architectural appearance suitable for living rooms, family rooms, and other residential spaces.

Designed for Natural Gas, the TRUE-36S-IFT has a rated heat input range of 28,000–45,500 BTU per hour. Its IntelliFire Touch ignition system and included RC400 touchscreen remote provide convenient operating control. Virtually invisible anti-reflective ceramic glass reduces glare, helping maintain a clear view of the flames and interior. The appliance also includes a gas flex connector, junction box, and LED accent lighting. Optional Heat-Zone and Heat-Out accessories can provide additional heat-management flexibility when installed with compatible components.

The TRUE-36S-IFT is the Stratford refractory configuration within the TRUE series. A compatible decorative front is required to complete installation and must be purchased separately. Available options include black Firescreen, Arched Firescreen, hand-crafted Forge, and Arched Forge designs. An arch kit is required for applicable arched-front installations. Professional installation must follow the manufacturer’s framing, hearth-extension, venting, clearance, and gas-connection instructions.
