Description
The Heat & Glo SL-7X is a 36-inch direct-vent gas fireplace designed to deliver a traditional fireside appearance while preserving valuable living space. Its Stratford ceramic brick refractory creates a classic brick-firebox aesthetic that complements traditional, transitional, and contemporary interiors. Five high-definition ceramic logs and LED-illuminated embers enhance the visual realism of the flames, while the ceramic viewing glass provides a clear view of the fire.
Designed for Natural Gas, the fireplace delivers a heat input range of 17,500–30,500 BTU per hour. The IntelliFire Touch ignition system and RC400 touchscreen remote provide convenient operation, while the GFK-160A variable-speed blower helps circulate warm air throughout the room. Battery backup offers additional operating flexibility during power interruptions. The unit also includes a gas flex connector with shut-off valve, junction box, external air-shutter adjustment, and connections for approved top- or rear-vent configurations.
The SL-7X-IFT-S is the Natural Gas configuration with Stratford brick refractory. Its slim design accommodates a range of residential installation layouts, subject to the manufacturer’s framing dimensions, clearances, and venting requirements. A compatible decorative front is required to complete the installation and is purchased separately. Available choices include Arcadia, Halston, Chateau Forge, Firescreen, and Clean Face styles, with exact compatibility and finish dependent on the selected front.
