The Heat & Glo SlimLine SL-7 is a 36-inch traditional direct-vent gas fireplace designed for top- or rear-vent installation. The manufacturer’s installation manual, revision O dated May 2026, specifies a Natural Gas input range of 13,000 to 25,000 BTU per hour. Its shallow design makes it suitable for locations where installation depth is an important consideration.
The listed model includes IntelliFire Touch ignition, battery backup, a 12-foot control wire, five ceramic logs, tempered glass and glowing embers. The decorative barrier front must be ordered separately. Optional interior panels, remote controls, wireless wall switch, fan kit and heat-management accessories allow additional customization but are not all included with the base SKU.
