Its black exterior hood and full-coverage mesh firescreen provide a clean, understated appearance, while the standard ceramic-fiber log set creates a familiar wood-burning fireplace aesthetic. The compact appliance depth makes it suitable for residential installations where preserving usable room space is important. The optional reflective black glass interior, decorative media, and black trim kits provide additional customization possibilities.

Designed for Natural Gas, the SL-5F-IFT is rated for a maximum heat input of 19,500 BTU per hour. The manufacturer’s product brochure lists an input range of 12,000–19,500 BTU/hr, while the January 2026 installation manual lists a minimum input of 10,000 BTU/hr and the same maximum; the appliance rating plate and applicable manual should be used to confirm the rating for the individual unit.
