The Heat & Glo Escape ST 42-Inch See-Through Gas Fireplace combines traditional fireplace character with an elegant double-sided design. Its generous viewing area allows the flames to be enjoyed from two adjoining rooms, making it an attractive architectural feature for open-plan living spaces, living and dining rooms, and custom residential interiors. The Stratford brick refractory gives the firebox an authentic masonry appearance, while the ceramic-fiber logs and glowing ember effects create a realistic, traditional fire presentation.

Designed for convenient operation, the Escape ST incorporates IntelliFire Touch electronic ignition and an included RC400 touchscreen remote. The remote allows users to switch the fireplace on or off, adjust flame height, control the electric ember bed and accent lighting, and access compatible operating features. Anti-reflective ceramic glass and a fine micro-screen help provide a clearer view of the fire, reducing reflections and visual obstruction. The integrated accent lights and illuminated ember bed also add depth to the display.

The direct-vent system removes combustion exhaust from the home while drawing combustion air from outside. The Escape ST supports flexible interior planning because its fire can be seen from both sides of a dividing wall. Optional Heat-Zone and Heat-Out accessories can redirect a portion of the fireplace’s heat, depending on the installation. Two approved decorative fronts are required to complete the installation, and these are purchased separately. The appliance is intended for supplemental heating or decorative use, not as a primary heat source.
