Description
The Heat & Glo 6KMOD is the 36-inch modern version of the 6K series. It is a natural gas, single-sided direct vent fireplace rated from 17,000 to 34,000 BTU/hr input. It vents through the top using DVP pipe, which keeps all combustion air and exhaust sealed off from the room.
This configuration uses anti-reflective ceramic glass and a 2-sided reflective and matte black glass liner for a clean, contemporary firebox. It is controlled by the IntelliFire Touch system and includes the wall switch wiring. No log or media set is included, so you choose glass media, a stone kit, or the driftwood log set separately. A decorative barrier front is mandatory for operation and is also sold separately.
The unit supports optional heat management, including Passive Heat, Heat-Zone and Heat-Out kits, and an optional 160 CFM fan kit. Remote controls, a wireless wall switch and a Wi-Fi module are available as separate accessories. This model cannot be converted to propane.
