The Jotul GI545 DV Winter Harbor (POD) Natural Gas Insert Without Blower – Matte Black (351716) is a contemporary direct-vent fireplace insert designed for installation into an existing fireplace opening. Its clean rectangular firebox and relatively shallow profile allow the appliance to provide the appearance of a built-in gas fireplace while retaining the versatility of an insert. The Matte Black configuration provides a neutral finish that can integrate with traditional, transitional and contemporary hearth designs.

The Natural Gas configuration provides a 16,000–30,000 BTU/hr input range, offering adjustable heat output for residential supplemental-heating applications. The Winter Harbor burner system is designed around a realistic flame presentation and approximately 50% heat-output turn-down. This particular configuration is specified without a blower, making it the naturally circulating version of the firebox package.

The GI545 uses a top-exit co-linear direct-vent system with separate 3-inch intake and exhaust liners. The insert has a large 28-5/8-inch × 14-7/8-inch viewing area and supports Traditional Logs and Beach Fire media treatments. Installation can be completed with required cast-iron or steel surround overlays and optional backer frames sized for different existing fireplace openings.
