The Heat & Glo Supreme 35 Inch Birch-Log Direct Vent Gas Fireplace Insert combines traditional fireplace character with the convenience of electronic gas ignition. Designed to upgrade a compatible existing wood-burning fireplace, this insert features a realistic ceramic fiber birch-log arrangement, a decorative brick base, ceramic glass, and glowing embers that create a welcoming focal point for living rooms and family spaces. Its classic appearance complements a variety of interior designs while providing supplemental heat without the routine handling of firewood.
The SUPREME-I35-BIR delivers a maximum heating input of 35,000 BTU per hour and includes the IntelliFire Touch ignition system with an RC400 touchscreen remote control. A variable-speed GFK-160A fan helps circulate warm air into the room, while battery backup provides additional ignition support during qualifying power interruptions. The viewing area measures approximately 32-1/2 inches wide by 19-3/8 inches high, offering a broad view of the flames and birch-style logs. This model is supplied in a natural gas configuration; conversion to liquid propane requires the manufacturer-approved LPK-MI-IFT conversion kit.
The Supreme insert is intended for installation in a compatible existing masonry or factory-built fireplace using an approved direct vent liner and termination system. A decorative barrier front and a properly sized surround must be selected separately to complete the installation and provide the required protection around the hot viewing glass.
