Heat & Glo MEZZO 60 Inch Natural Gas Fireplace With IntelliFire Touch Ignition – Black (MEZZO60-C)

The Heat & Glo MEZZO 60 is a modern 60-inch linear direct-vent gas fireplace designed to create a dramatic architectural focal point in contemporary residential interiors. Its expansive horizontal format produces an end-to-end ribbon flame, while the reflective black glass refractory creates a sleek, dark firebox that enhances the visual depth of the flames. Clear, dimmable LED accent lighting highlights the firebed and can provide decorative ambiance even when the fireplace is not operating. The slim 17-1/8-inch appliance depth offers installation flexibility for feature walls, spacious living rooms, and entertainment areas.

Designed for Natural Gas, the MEZZO60-C delivers a rated heat input range of 26,000–50,000 BTU per hour. Its IntelliFire Touch electronic ignition system and included RC400 touchscreen remote provide convenient operating control, including flame-height and lighting adjustments. The fireplace also includes reflective black glass refractory, ceramic viewing glass, a junction box, a gas flex connector, and battery backup. Optional Heat-Zone, Heat-Out, and Passive Heat systems provide additional heat-management possibilities when paired with compatible accessories.

The MEZZO60-C requires a compatible decorative front and crushed-glass firebed media to complete installation. Front options include Clean Face Trim, Loft Forge, and Quattro designs, with finishes varying by style. Additional firebed choices include Clear, Amber, Scarlet, Ebony, and Cobalt glass, as well as compatible Natural or Driftwood logs and River Rock stones. Certain log and stone combinations have restrictions, so the accessory configuration must follow the manufacturer’s instructions. The fireplace uses top-vent direct-vent installation and requires at least 18 inches of vertical venting before a 90-degree elbow is attached.
