The Heat & Glo Escape 35 Inch Propane Gas Fireplace Insert combines traditional log-fire aesthetics with modern heating and ignition technology. Designed to upgrade a compatible existing fireplace, this direct vent insert creates an inviting focal point while eliminating the routine handling of firewood. Its patented FireBrick interior is designed to enhance radiant heat delivery, while the black finish, hand-painted ceramic fiber logs, and illuminated ember bed create a realistic and welcoming flame presentation.

The ESCAPE-35LP-IFT operates on liquid propane and delivers a maximum input rating of 38,000 BTU per hour, with a minimum input of 19,000 BTU per hour. Its IntelliFire Touch ignition system and included RC400 touchscreen remote provide convenient control. Anti-reflective ceramic glass and the ClearVue screen help reduce reflections and improve flame visibility, while the dual variable-speed convection fan helps distribute heat throughout the living space. Battery backup provides additional ignition support during qualifying power interruptions.

This fireplace insert is designed for supplemental heating or decorative use and is not intended to serve as a home’s primary heat source. A compatible direct vent liner and termination arrangement, decorative barrier front, and surround must be selected to suit the existing fireplace opening. The gas flex connector, six ceramic fiber logs, glowing ember bed, fan, and remote control are included.
