The Heat & Glo Cosmo 30-Inch Natural Gas Fireplace Insert transforms an outdated wood-burning fireplace into a contemporary, easy-to-operate gas fireplace. Designed to fit inside an existing masonry or approved factory-built fireplace, the Cosmo combines a streamlined silhouette with a ribbon-style flame presentation. Its fluted black glass liner adds visual depth behind the flames, creating an attractive centerpiece for modern and transitional living spaces.

The Cosmo I30-IFT features IntelliFire Touch electronic ignition with an included RC400 touchscreen remote and battery backup. Its natural gas burner offers an input range of 19,600–28,000 BTU per hour, while the included GFK-160A variable-speed fan helps circulate warm air into the room. Direct-vent technology draws combustion air through the approved venting system and carries exhaust outdoors through the existing chimney, subject to the manufacturer’s installation requirements.

Homeowners can personalize the finished fireplace with Clear, Amber, Cobalt Blue, Ebony, Iced Fog or Scarlet glass media, optional Driftwood logs, or River Rock stones. Decorative fronts are available in styles such as Firescreen, Halston Arch, Inside Fit and Iron Age, with coordinating finishes including Black, Gun Metal and New Bronze. A compatible surround and selected firebed media are required to complete the installation and are sold separately. The Cosmo is approved for supplemental heating or decorative use, rather than as a primary heat source.
