Description
The Heat & Glo 8K-LP is a 42-inch traditional direct vent gas fireplace designed for built-in residential installations. The propane model provides a 17,000–34,000 BTU/hour input range and combines a traditional log fire presentation with modern ignition and control technology. The appliance has an expansive viewing area and supports top or rear vent configurations for installation flexibility.
The 8K-LP includes six ceramic fiber logs, glowing embers, tempered glass, battery backup and the IntelliFire Touch ignition system. Flame adjustment requires an RC400 remote or IFT-WFM Wi-Fi module, while the broader 6K/8K platform supports remote, wireless wall-switch and smart/app control solutions. Decorative fronts are required to complete the fireplace and are sold separately.
